Did you know?
- The Eagle Owl is the largest owl among the living species.
- The age of the bird can be determined by the color of its iris. The older the bird, the darker the shade. Young owls have a yellow-orange iris, while older ones have a dark brown iris.
- Their favorite food is hedgehog meat. Long, sharp claws with scales easily handle the hedgehog’s spines. Other predators rarely attack hedgehogs due to their spines.
